- IAG Performance is proud to offer 8mm phenolic grade CE spacers compatible with Subaru 2.0L and 2.5L engine. This is a simple, cost-effective way to maximize the power of your current set-up. The 8mm spacer offers superior thermal insulation and also aids in raising the intake manifold*. This can be useful when plumbing custom intercooler piping or rotating the intake manifold.
- Why it works: The concept behind the phenolic spacer is simple: isolate the heat produced by the engine from the entire intake tract. This results in a cooler path for the intake air. This leads to a lower and more stable intake air temperature (IATs). Lower IATs mean you have the capability to make more power with your current set-up.
- IAG phenolic spacers are engineered and manufactured at our facility in Westminster, MD. The spacer was designed using the factory OEM head. Each spacer is then CNC machined from a single piece of phenolic. We INCLUDE 4 custom made Nitrile gaskets with your phenolic spacers: one to go on either side of the spacer. Our intake manifold gaskets are not layered with paper like the factory gasket.
- They are engineered to stay intact when removed from your cylinder head. This prevents you from having to clean up residue that sticks to the cylinder head after years of use. Also included are longer stainless steel spring pins. The pins aid in aligning the spacer/gasket with the cylinder head. They are longer to account for the thicker spacer. *Due to clearance issues that can arise with raising the intake manifold, please confirm fitment for your specific application before ordering.
- Fitment Notes: Hardware Included is for IAG V2 Top Feed TGV's only. If you require hardware for IAG V1 TGVs or like products it is available separately (Part# IAG-RPL-AFD-3000-HDW-38)
